I think it has something to do with the fact that -beep- soldiers were 'hardcore', not disgusted at the brutal murder of people in front of them. You know, like they're hardened men. or maybe Chinese people just think it looks cool (which it does, aside from the -beep- part) and aren't to familiar with their 20th century European History

Hey you know what would be f*cking awesome?

If I was to dress up in an Imperial Japanese officers uniform. I mean -beep-'s were hardcore, but those guys invented "Banzai!" and "Kamikaze" you don't get much more committed than that.

Then I could hire some chinese prostitutes (not like there isn't enough eh? eh? Meh… Nevermind) and pretend to rape them, maybe one of them would have a brother or father to watch. It would make some really classy photos.

After that I could put on a gas mask and rubber gloves and pretend to do some experiments on live fetuses or see how to manipulate the breeding stock of the locals.

Only question is whether Canney would like to be one of the rapists cause of her Japanese heritage (you know none of them are friendly and they all look down on china) OR would she be one of the victims cause of her Taiwanese/Hong Kong heritage? Tricky question…

I just wish I could visit NanKing and do some more authentic re-enactments. THAT would be VERY high class.

Sieg Heil Muddafuckas!!!

I goes along with my observation that most people inside China really have no idea what happens in the rest of the world.  It's all a bit sick in my observation.

It occurred to me several years ago that reason the Armies of the world aim for young soldiers is nothing to do with fitness, strength, or endurance, it's that they are stupid and believe all the lies they are fed to get them to follow orders.  Years ago I was sharing a place with a 20 year old Chinese guy who told me he thought that Hilter was tough and 'cool', he admired him.  He also though Mao was good.  I was not there to de-brainwash him so I just told him I hoped he was never ever in a position of power or having access to any type of weapon.  The boy was an otherwise friendly and personable person, but I detected some seriously screwed up beliefs.

In Asia there is a serious disconnect with World War 2 history. Instead of the whole starting a global conflict, genocide, occultism stuff that Hitler was into, Asian people/schools tend to only focus on the part where he brought Germany out of the Great Depression. He did that so he must be a good, strong leader, right? The guy in the pic is probably one of those people who thinks Mao Zedong is infallible and Josef Stalin is a hero. Wouldn't surprise me.

It's very common at Japanese anime and video game conventions to see several people dressed as -beep-. But then again, you see A LOT of crazy stuff coming out of there. I can understand. -beep- imagery is cool. Eagle iconography, black leather jackets, skulls, sharp lookin uniforms. And the -beep- ruined that look for everyone!

Wait Wait Wait.  Hold the Presses.

Take another look at the photos.  There is another potential reason that they chose to have the guy in a silly outfit to grab attention.

The girl is not beautiful.

Just compare that girl to the wedding shots of Crystal.  I'm just saying that there might be some other thinking behind the guy dressed in a representation of targeted mass murderers.  The real trick of magic is misdirection, while we are looking at -beep- imitation, we are not looking at…

I just realized that this is an oxymoron.

I burst out laughing when I saw the pics. My country was invaded by ze Germans and no one in their right mind would wear a -beep- uniform here, Halloween or not. I can understand the lulz of dressing up as a -beep- on Halloween… for wedding pics it is kind of disturbing.

Admittedly -beep- uniforms are very stylish. Maybe because Hugo Boss produced many of them…

EDIT: still laughing. Real TIC moment here.

I disagree that this guy didn't know what he was doing.

A uniform of this detail would require research, so whoever put it together did a lot of poring over old photos and videos (and I don't mean Indiana Jones 1 & 3).

In my books, that makes him a complete and total piece of -beep-.

Then again, this is coming from the country that still worships the biggest mass murderer in history, so that puts a new light on it.

What makes it extra weird are the pics where the wife is cosplaying as an anime character. For those of you too cool to know what cosplaying is, it's where a person dresses up as a character from fiction (almost always anime or video games). So you got a -beep- and a cutesy anime character getting hitched. I smell a sitcom!

The first thing I noticed was the massive hickey on the bride.  Imagine how that looks hanging over their bed.

Go the original thread (http://tieba.baidu.com/p/1039011584?pn=1) and read a little bit the comments.

How about this one (somewhere on the second page)?

Young SS officer and his Aryan bride, nice picture!
Good handsome officers!

And also take a look at the profile pictures of that Chinese forum members!!

So – yes – they know exactly what they are talking about…

I don't think they know the definition of "Aryan".

Apparently they don't understand -beep- ideology either. If you weren't blonde haired, blue eyed, and German with a chiseled jaw then you were destined to be murdered or worked to death to provide resources for the -beep- Empire. No Chinese allowed.

Hmm, really? Was Hitler blonde haired or blue eyed?

It could be a kinky -beep- and control thing as the bruise on her neck could actually be from 'choking'…

This type of thing can easy spark hatred and over-reactions.  Chinese should be very very careful about this type of thing being publicised in the wider world most people would not be thinking about strange explanations as we are.  Like Crystal says there people are actually in receipt of at least some of the reality of what and who the -beep-'s are, and they want to celebrate that.  Even in most of Germany this stuff would be considered crazy.

If they want a dose of Aryan reality they could take a holiday in some parts of Russia where the local racist gangs of blonde foreigner hating thugs have killed more than a few in the last 10 years.
