OfflineI just wanted to let you all know that my wife received her first letter from canadian immigration !
It just told her that Beijing will take 6 months to process her permanent resident visa !!!
They already have had it for 3 months now so if it takes that long it will be at least another three months ! I feel that i think it will maybe be less the web site says 4 months for Beijing to process and give us an answer !!
Maybe someone else from Canada can tell me what their letters said and what happened and how long it took for a permanent resident visa to be issued also did they or their spouse need to go to an interview !!
Any input will be appreciated very much i know any comments are not exact because all cases are different but it is still nice to here from you !!
oh the other day before the letter was e-mailed to my wife in china the immigration web site said they recieved her and our daughter's medicals if that helps tell you more !!!

OfflineUsually it's 4 months or faster for most of the cases. 6 months is just what's on the letter usually it's not 100% accurate.
I'm in the same boat so here's a forum for you:

Hope your interview is waived. GL
