OfflineGreat to hear that everything worked out so well. Thank you for sharing the things you have done and finally helped to resolve the issue with your fiancée. They really sound reasonable. I can imagine that sending flowers abroad finally was successful. Everyone loves flowers and it is a great opportunity to say I love you if you are in a long-distance relationship. I also send flowers from time to time because I love to surprise my beloved ones.

OfflineThought I would leave another update. This forum provided lots for me to think about as my relationship developed. Hope others can benefit also. By the "hits" on this topic thread, it looks like many are interested. Although the topic now needs updating too!
Well, in October this year I married the most beautiful, tender, wise, happy, trusting and trustworthy woman I ever could ! And boy, can she drive a car in her city! Wow, exactly half-way around the world in China. What a world we live in. We are both starting a new life time of love ahead of us.
If you've read this thread you will have seen some of the inner turmoil I had to resolve with this cross-cultural, long-distance relationship. More to come, no doubt. But it is the most wonderful, crazy, complicated, happy time of my life, of our lives!
We have been abundantly blessed and embrace the beauty of humankind together.
Next stop – the near-impossible morass of immigration!!
Faith in love
