I am currently dating a Chinese girl from Beijing, she's about 2 years younger than me, we've been dating for a month now. I know it has been discussed a lot throughout the years and in this forum, but I would like to know from someone with real experience on the subject, but being of Latin heritage, I feel the need of constantly hugging and kissing my partner, but she seems to float away of both, which saddens me… cultural differences hurt…

Am I really going to have to endure this throughout the whole relationship? Am I really going to have to take such a cold-hearted (in my view, I'm not making xenophobiac comments) in order to make it work? 

I would suggest just be patient. She is is probably just making sure you really want to be her closest friend.

Its quite possible she may make the first move.
