How Chinese hotels recruit prostitutes

Here is an interesting report which sheds light on how Chinese hotels recruit females for escort service.

I quote it from the forum to which I can't link because this is a "bad" forum (which I joined 2 days ago in order to gather information for my future post/s about prostitution in China).

I was walking with my girlfriend… She gets a text message and shows it to me. One of the most elegant hotels is asking for help in its new sauna/massage establishment. They want girls who are "pretty and open minded". Pay is good up to 10000 RMB per month.

Now my GF is relatively conservative. How did the hotel get her cell number to send such an ad? The answer is that they buy lists of numbers from telephone companies and send openly to all the females in the age group they are looking for.

Can you imagine this happening in the US? Even Craigslist Erotic Services got shut down.

The way that companies collect and sell contact details in China is probably illegal in other countries.

Some bars in Shanghai for example collect customers business cards under the guise of giving out some prize.  Sure, they give a prize, but first they sell all the mobile phone numbers, email addresses, full names and company name info to agents.

Websites in China can easily collect this information.  Start a chat forum, make members join up then sell off the email addresses.  Chinese websites do this all the time.

Cool

Crystal you should be careful joining up 'BAD' forums for 'research purposes'.  Sometimes good girls are tempted over to the dark side…

Not just females – I get this sort of messages too (along with the spam from real-estate agents, fake receipt & certificate dealers, "Dad I'm stuck in another city please send money to bank account No. -beep-" scammers, and even hitmen for hire)

Yes, I am aware of dangers – that's why I am "sitting" there silently without revealing myself.

Anyway, it's not the forum of cannibals where people look out for someone to eat Laugh

Haha… well… I am gathering information from one forum where men share their "exotic" experiences in different countries of the world.

So, I filter out "reports" about Chinese barber shops, KTVs, saunas etc. and want to write a post about it next week.

Funny thing: it took me a lot of time to figure out all weird abbreviations that members of that forum use.

But let's not discuss it in advance – wait for the post…

Confused 10, 000 quai a month! Are they joking? I've known some 'ducks' who were on 30,000 a month!

No wonder they have to send out un-solicited text messages. Surprised

@ Giacomo

I dont know how long your email address was up before Crystal kidly removed it, but if it was more than an hour, the chances are a spambot has collected it and it will be sold on; I hope it was not your main email account.

Either way, it would be a good idea to change it; if it was a webmail address like hotmail or gmail, just dump it and start a fresh one; if it was an ISP based one, look to see if you can change it.

Often you can change the part before the "@"; do this and set up an auto reject for anything sent to the old version.

If this is not possible, use a program like "Mailwasher" to prefilter your mail box before downloading.

You may not know for a few weeks if the details were collected, so that gives you some time to start a new address before dumping the old one; personally, I keep 3-4 webmail addresses, so I can easily dump one if it gets too bad.

How bad can it get?? One retailer I wont use again sold their email list off and it got bought by various spammers, before I managed to set up a new account and let everyone I wanted to contact me know the new address I was getting 500+ spam messages per day.

Now now Crystal

That old stereotype about chinese girls and runway chests isn't always true.

You shouldn't believe you have nothing there… The pics up above tell a different story.

I'm such an awful person…

Please submit your flames to the "Dumpster" thread.

I will tell you of an interesting experience in Kunming, China.

My wife and I visited Kunming China for a friends wedding.   Hotel rooms in China apparently buy box-springs and call them beds-  they are very hard, so about the 10th day of sleeping on a hard mattress we arranged a massage in the hotel spa.   I went down first.    When I got to the spa, they send you in for a shower and then have you sit in a whirlpool for a few minutes.   After I sit there for a few minutes a guy comes up and motions for me to get out-  there is no robe or even towel.  I walk wet to the next room which is lit up very brightly and the guy proceeds to dry me off all over with a wash cloth.    I am a pretty big guy and the guy gives me the largest size boxer shorts he has- well these are very small and tight.    I am then taken to the back where there is a line-up of 4 or 5 women in very tight shorts and bikini tops.   There is a guy in a suit there who motions to one of the girls and writes 175 on a piece of paper.  I asked at the front desk how much for a full body massage and they told me 350RMB so I told him no, thinking she was just going to give me a foot massage or something and wrote 350RMB on the paper as neither of us spoke each others language.   He says ok, ok and motions for a different girl to come with me.  At this time we go into a little room with a massage table and a bed in the corner.   Above the bed and on the walls are mirrors.  The door has a 2 way mirror.   The girl motions me over to the bed and has me lay on my back.  She proceeds to offer me a drink, which I decline.   She then neels down between my legs and starts massaging my inner thigh-  this of course is not what I expected and causes me some discomfort.  She then sees that I am in discomfort and instructs me to take off my shorts.  I am fully clued in on what is going on at this point and start saying "no-  massage the back"    After several more attempts to get me to take of my shorts, she then starts massaging other ares-  very poor massage.  I don't think she expected to have to give an actual massage.

I told my wife about the experience-  she did not believe me, but after going down, she also received special attention from a misuse, having her be fully naked and massaging areas that normal massages avoid.   She wanted to complain to the Police, but I convinced her that whatever trouble she stirred up probably would not go well for us.

Claude, not trying to sound cruel yet you set yourself up for that one. Come on super small boxers, all that body language, why would you imagine that a 3rd world little hick town like Kunming would be crawling with illicit behavior. Massage parlors in general are notoriously known for prostuition around the world, {speaking from my own experiences when I was young and crazy in America}. While living in Tokyo Japan the low level Yakuza would try to recruit by having this con where they would approach young girls in the busiest intersection in Shinjuku by stating they could win a big prize if the reached into a fishbowl to draw a piece of paper that would determine how much or what they won. Yes, you got it, it is like betting with a two headed coin {indecent proposal}, everyone is a winner except the woman that gets dupped into a life of selling her -beep- for any Tom, -beep- and Harry. Walking through life with blinders will surely get you burned. I was in Japan in 93 – 94. Oldest profession in the world, naive boy gets his butt in trouble anyway you look at it.Yell
