Margaret is from Tujia minority
Internet is full of different top 10 lists and charts. They can be found on almost any popular topic one would imagine. “Beautiful Chinese Girls” is not an exception.
However, such lists often overlap each other in their contents. Therefore, in an attempt to create an original “Top 10” article on my blog, I decided to add an additional criterion: all girls in my list (besides being beautiful) belong to some Chinese ethnic minority group.
Anyway, judging from the results of previously published quiz in which you had to distinuish between Chinese and other Asian girls, the chance that readers of this post see the difference between Han and minority girls is very little ;-) …
Before we jump to the list itself, here is a little “did-you-know” fact about ethnic minorities in China (taken from Wikipedia): there are 55 officially recognized minority groups with the total population of more than 100 million. They represent more than 8% of China’s overall population.
Alan Dawa Dolma (阿兰.达瓦卓玛 Alan Dawazhuoma)

Young singer from Zang minority (Tibetan). Born in Sichuan, she is developing her career in Japan. Sings in Mandarin, Japanese and her local dialect of Tibetan.
Alan doesn’t forget about her roots: in 2008 she raised funds to help her home province affected by an earthquake.

A Duo is from Tujia minority. She combines singing career with modeling. Internet is full of her sexy pictures.

This young singer came to prominence in 2005 during the national competition for female singers – “Super Girl”. She started singing and participating in different competitions of her native Guizhou since being a teen. Angel belongs to Yi minority.

Born into Chaoxian minority (in other words – Chinese of Korean descent), she had a meteoric rise to the top of mainland musical industry with her first album released in 1999. Kim has unique voice and diverse repertoire.
Rosamund Kwan (关之琳 Guang Zhilin)

Father of the actress is of Manchu origin. Rosamund is from Hong Kong. She is known for her roles in movies of action genre (alongside Jackie Chan and Jet Li). Even in her forties she is the face of many companies advertising cosmetics products.

For the role in one of her movies, she had to completely shave hair on her head. But the natural and true beauty won’t be affected by it. Since then in many people’s hearts – she is the symbol of a beautiful woman. Mother of the actress is from Naxi minority.

A beautiful actress and dancer from Xibo minority. One thing that puzzles me is whether the mentioning of her name in the post of Chinese Human Rights Defenders about petition outside of Shanghai Expo refers to her?

Beijing-based actress is lately often invited to promote different fashion collections. She has links to Tujia minority from her mother’s side.

Her mother is from Hui minority. Many agree that she has a typically mixed appearance, making her especially attractive. She is successful both as actress and singer.
